Chris..

Why don't you weld it up instead?

You have the axle shaft disco setup still right?

Unlock and you'd be able to turn in 4wd. Lock in and both sides are spinning.

Kinda like a cheap version of an OX locker :thumb: I know a guy that had done this several years ago and it worked out pretty good for the cost.

Ah. I was thinking the D30 was just a temp axle until you found a D44 or 60 to put under it.

If you want I have chunked D30 spider gears that would be perfect for your Lincoln Locker that I would be willing to trade for your nice non chunked spider gears...

I might have a set of D30 spiders somewhere if you want me to look. I've been given 3 or 4 of the darn things and have enough parts to build another one :rotfl:

But I have only changed the axles in the front once...... Only after the first time out at 2hd when I broke everything.

Since then the jeep has done 2hd twice, meatgrinder, carnage, little valley, lizard gulch, lost trail, reservoir rocks, etc. Over a year without breakage.
I wouldn't have said that. Just setting yourself up for trouble.
