Hey all I will be painting my Dana 60 on Friday and want to know some opionons on what paint to use. So far my options are cheap paint (rattle can) get some paint that is better quality and shoot it with my spray gun ( would use a self etching primer as a base) or use POR 15. Any other ideas would be welcome :rotfl: :rotfl:
what color is my vehicle hmmmm let me think well some of it is white primer some is bare metal and some is red primer and oh yeah some of it is turquiose.  it will all be turquiose (how the hell do you spell that) next week the axles though are just going to be black. Does anyone think it would look stupid to paint the knuckles turquiouse and the rest of the axle black? :rotfl: :rotfl:
lol... I do... that would look stupid.... :finger: :finger:
but where it really TECHNICALLY is Krystal's rig, why not? go for it...
POR15 the axles dude... that stuff is pure armor..
hammerite rattle can, goes on thick with one coat and not too expensive for what you get. I have painted lots of parts with that stuff and it does last 10xs longer than any other rattle can stuff.
I like the hammerite paint as well. Good durable stuff and easy as hell to apply.
