i have a brother needing a 231 transfer case he has a 1989 cherokee with an automatic if that helps.

check the spline it should be a 23 count

I've got a 231 out of my 91 XJ. It engaged smooth, sounded fine when I removed it a month ago. Let me know if your interested. I'd like to see $100 obo.
