Once implemented in the summer of 2008, the Moab Resource Management Plan will define how public lands in the Moab/Monticello area are managed for the next 15 to 20 years. This process is a great opportunity for individuals and groups to get involved in how our public lands are managed. The process began in 2001, and we are currently in the “public comment” phase. The documents outlining the proposed management changes contain over 1500 pages of information and maps. This information is currently being analyzed, but the analysis is not complete. More information will be published as it becomes available.
