I found out where my tranny was leaking from, the adaptor plate bolts that bolt to the transmission (you know the ones you can't see) backed out. Really easy to find the leak though. Anyway the four threaded holes in the trans are stripped out. First question is what could have caused this. I have the torque mount on the transfer case, not the one that bolts to the tanny the one that bolts to the frame and that was connected. For those who don't know this is a 73 blazer with 10" of lift D60 front 14b rear 203-t-case with a partime kit and a turbo 350 trans 350 motor. Basically I have to have this running by Saturday should I just heli coil the holes? Heli coil the bottom holes and nut the top holes, or tap to the next bigger size? :rotfl: :rotfl:
