No one other than a Toyota mechanic has spent more time in or under a taco than you... So why not go solid and quit screwing with the IFS..... I am just wondering. P.S. Keep the last weekend of this month open if you would I may need a few more wrench turners... ITS SWAPPY SWAPPY TIME>

Yup SWAPPI Time is near I am waiting on FJ80 Tie rods from A.O.R. and the P.O.S. pitman arm from All Poo still, but I should have them by thurs of next week and I will also have the front axle completely rebuilt by then. :lol: :thumb: Then LET THE FAWKING TORCHING BEGIN!!!!!!!! I have no opinion to add about your SkyJacker, Pro Comp dilema other than the custom fab shops seem to think it is ok for the kind of wheeling we do.....
When the time comes let me know I will lend a hand and bring beer. :twisted:

tell your folks thanks again for the use of the garage, it turned out tht the rearend is ok but the drive line had to be rebuilt and something in the T-case is slowly grenading..... Thanks for the info about getting mom to drive, my wife would have hated Moab this time but eventually it wil be a good thing.

the return trip was boring as hell, sorry I didnt get the chance to wheel with you more.I lost a lot of confidence after the first run, maybe I should have gone out before we left..... And the transfer case noise worried me so once I get her sorted out I am ready to go...

Thanks Pablo... I just discovered a wierd noise this morning coming from either the Tranny or T-case, when the truck is in neutral slowing down, almost like the chain in the t-case has streched out, I am planning on dropping the fluid today and seeing what is hiding in the case, hopefully it is only low oil. If not I am not sure where to start. Timmy said it could be a busted spring in the clutch plate, and since it is the stock clutch it is possible.... Worst case if the Tcase is bad I am going to buy a 4cyl case and regear it to the 4.7 reduction from Marlin.... I will let youknow if I end up needing a hand. I would like to see the video, do any of you guys remember seeing my rear end flex? I am thinking it is way too stiff. Also the truck only ramped mid 700's on a 25 degree rtamp. I am wondering that others are ramping.
