Seems I once saw a deep pan for a 400 that had a notch on the passengers side that cleared the front drive shaft on a 4x4. Anyone know of such a pan? Chris, do you know of what I speak?

Nope. I looked at all that was listed at Summit. They usually have what I look for if I know the manufacturers number to plug in. I have even gone into most all the manufacturers sites I know about to look for it, but can't find it. Maybe I'm just not remembering right.

Just a thought...

It wouldn't be hard to cut and notch it yourself. I'm guessing it's mild steel, but even aluminum would be easy. If you don't weld, there are plenty of folks on the list down your way that do.

Just need to be careful on where the oil pump pick-up is, I'd guess. Make sure it's not where the notch is or, if it is, move it.

Of course, if you can find one ready-made, that would be easier. This'd just make a good Plan B. Or...Plan C.
