I started on the SOA conversion on the 77 scout last week. So far I have the spring perches welded on and I'm fixing to cut and turn the knuckles to get them back where they need to be. It raised it up about 6 1/2". I also moved the axle foward about an inch to help with approach angle.

I still have to do the rear. I will also be moving it back about an inch or so. I have to do something with brake lines, extend the driveshafts and build a new drag link.

I'm getting some 31" SSRs for helping a friend put a lift on his truck. I'll be using them for the drags next month and I have some 33s for trail riding.

I cant wait to get it done, it'll be a totally different truck.

A little slow right now. I'm in the process of turning the knuckles, once I get past that it shouldnt take too long to get it done. I have until the end of Feb. to get it finished.

Are you cutting and rewelding the tubes to turn the knuckels?
