Slowly but surely, electric vehicle startup Rivian has been rolling R1T pickups off the assembly line in Normal, Illinois and into the driveways of patient customers. And the promised off-road chops have largely proven to be real, with the company completing a splashy cross-country off-road trek last summer.
Still, most of the attention the R1T has received has been for its clever storage solutions and hideaway outdoor kitchen. But those of us in the know are much more interested in getting this thing on the trail, and that's why we loved seeing this post from Off-Road.com showing a Rivian test truck with a built-in winch.

I am very curious to see the impact as some of these electric vehicles enter offroad type markets. It's not necessarily my thing, but I appreciate anything automotive for sure.
