Slowly but surely, electric vehicle startup Rivian has been rolling R1T pickups off the assembly line in Normal, Illinois and into the driveways of patient customers. And the promised off-road chops have largely proven to be real, with the company completing a splashy cross-country off-road trek last summer.
Still, most of the attention the R1T has received has been for its clever storage solutions and hideaway outdoor kitchen.
