Does the Caldwell area have hard water or is it not so bad like back east? The water here is really hard and tons of people have softeners.
Also is the water pretty pure as well with all the rivers and such? I've read that idaho did/does a lot of mining and am wondering if I'll need to get an reverse osmosis system or not.
Thanks.

I moved to Caldwell from about as far east (US anyway) that you can get - New Jersey.
The water was awful there and we had all kinds of water systems - reverse osmosis & stuff - the water here is soft and completely different from the East (although I'm not sure how far east you're talking).

I would definitely go on those websites listed in the above post and check it out compared to what you have now. Good Luck!!!

Water on base is bad though. Tastes like muddy pool water. I just bring water from home though.
