The meeting went well and everyone seems to be on the same page. Thanks to everyone who made it. And thanks to those who couldn't make it but expressed their thoughts on here about their ideas. The Campbells know what they need to do to grow the attendance and we better understand their needs.
To those who attended and expressed your ideas and reactions to what was being discussed, a BIG THANK YOU:thumb:. It was good to let the Campbells hear the thoughts and ideas from more people.
Glen made a proposal to everyone about how to organize a points series. The details have to ironed out but it was recieved well by everyone including the Campbells. More info later after it's discussed more and PV has a chance to review it and agree with it.
Mark and Denice Campbell asked for our help identifying potential sponsors for the track. They are motocross people and the mud racing world is new to them. Names of contacts, not just names of businesses, is what they need. They also need volunteers to help with the races (timers, stagers, mud pit crews, etc.). Details about their volunteer needs will be explained more later.
There will be another meeting between the drivers and the track before next season to pass on what improvements and decisions have been made by PV. This is an ongoing conversation of how we all can help PV stay open for mud racing and future events.
Again, my personal thanks to those who took their time to come to the meeting. I also want to thank the Campbells for calling the meeting and listening to the drivers and our ideas. :beer:
