You are in luck. There is a rock Trail between Rexburg and the freeway. Last time I ran it, I blew a rear shaft, ripped a tire off of the rim and took out a brake line. Its a fun one but can be hard to find.

Jeeps.org

Notice that there is a map link on the top of the page. Basically you head down the highway towards the freeway about halfway there, there are some roads that go off to your left. The is a sand hill out there that you can see. Drive around untill you can find the bottom of the hill that faces the road (North side). Strait out from there is the start of the trail. It starts with a steep climb into a V notch and you can bypass the notch to the right. The trail goes off to the right and there should be enough tracks to follow it.

I plan on running it again sometime this summer.

how would you rate it for difficulty. I just sold my rock crawler so now I only have my cherokee on 31's with a t-18 tranny. No lockers. Are lockers needed on this trail or can I sneak through?

I didnt have a front locker and I had 40" at the time. I could make it through about 80%. I know that there are parts you can do but other parts will not happen. Its easy to bypass all over the place though.

Alo the whole area is like a playground. You can make it as hard as you want it. There are lots of opportunities to make a trail out there.

A stock rig with a lift can run most of it there are certain optional obstacles that you can take the trail is more fun if you take someone who knows it pretty well out there with you. Let me know when you are going to go and I will see if I can get out there. Also check the Snake River Off Roaders posting board I put out rides up on there. Also meeting times etc. Anyone is welcome to come trailride with us though :rotfl: :rotfl:
