I’ve got a 2000 Dodge Durango 5.9 RT. I’m not pulling anything with it; it’s just the family vehicle. It must have the most restrictive air intake system I’ve ever seen. I’m thinking of putting a K&N FIPK II on it to help it breath easier. They say you might experience some increase in m.p.g. but they make no straight out claims to this. Logic would seem to dictate (at least to me), that if it can breath easier, I should see at least a slight increase in mileage. Has anybody had any experience with the FIPK II’s in general and on the 2000 Durango (or similar vehicle) specifically?

Thanks to anyone willing to take the time to give me a little feedback.
