Got the toy movable under its own power today, found out i hadnt welded on the spring perches in the rear, blew a u-joint and bent my quick fab rear d-line, got the rear axle centered under the toy better, 8 3/4" of tire outside the body, clutch rod connecting toy pedals to chevy clutch master isnt quite long enough, have to start in gear. And have a rear wheel seal leaking. All and all ITS ALIVE!!!

Now I can move it, and get it on a trailer to take to motorfest. Ill get some more pics soon.:thumb:

Hell yeah! I like it! I'll have to remember to weld my rear perches, I can see how easy that is to forget. Your rig is the C.R.A.P.:smokin:

I fit the Burb on a trailer just fine, you just have too small of a trailer.

well for some reason I dont think it wants to be sold...

Moved it today, clutch let go, wont disengage all the way, and sounds like metal on metal grinding.

Well I didnt have a camera with me...

I hauled it down to foothill, used the forklift to flex it out.

Rear flex was 23" measured from the top of the tire to the body.

I didnt measure the flex in the front. But im guessing around 18"

It started to lift the driver rear tire when I had the pass rear tire about 43" off the ground. Not bad for leaf springs, but im not impressed yet.

Time to weld on the perches, so the rear quits moving when I flex and move on/off the trailer.

When thats done, I'll remove some leafs, and trim some more sheetmetal.

Well Im hoping it will be ready next summer now...
