Has anyone done This? I have some plans I got off the internet on how too. It involves tapping threw the end plate and top plate. Both are AL. I was thinking of tapping into the box itself instead of the AL plates. Just curious if anyone has some pics to share or info. :thumb:

I have done lots of research on this. It is easier to tap the plates but the end plate needs to be reinforced as its thin. I was able to find a good ram and hoses locally (special order) for a decent price. By the time the work was done though, You can check out this place:

basically doing it that way involves taken apart the box itself and i would do it if i didn't have another box to try it on. i had my old 4x4 box that i used as a test pig. after i was certain wher to drill and tap i did it to my 2wd box.

not sure if you read this, but this will give you some info where to tap
