Ford had a lot to prove when it decided to bring back the iconic Bronco as a genuine off-roader. And we know now that they've largely delivered, having produced a flexible rig that can go toe-to-toe with the Jeep Wrangler, and just about any other factory-fresh SUV.

To prove it was serious, Ford smartly focused on a handful of easy-to-explain features that it knew serious off-roaders would be looking for. Among those features were the removable doors and fenders.

This early post surfaced last winter on Off-Road.com, detailed how that process works. It's mostly a good bit easier than the process on a Jeep, though there are some upsides to the Wrangler's approach.
