Hello, i'm new and have a question that i hope you all can help me with. ok i'm looking at an 85 toyota. it came originally with a 22RE but someone who thought they were intelegent went and put a 22R into it. it dosn't run and the guy whos selling it doesn't seem to know much. the rear differencial leaks as well as the front axle's left wheel seal. it needs a new timimg cover seal and i believe the only reason it dosn't run is because the timing chain jumped a tooth or two but i'm going to check the timing tommorrow and d=find out. to change the timing chain you have to remove the head. the oil pan the ac compressor the alt. the motor mounts ect ect so what do you think is it worth 1,500? and if you would please tell me what you would pay! thx

Look close at the timing cover, It wont be the seal leaking.. If the chain is that loose it done ate a hole in the timing cover and all that aluminum goes thru the engine.. Its a 400.00 to 600.00 P/U if that much....................
