I was wondering how much shave you have to do to fit a 15" rim on a dana 60. The reason I'm asking is cause I can buy 4 brand new 44" swampers on 15X10 beadlocks for $1,100. I want to get them if it's not to much work to get them to fit.

That sounds like a hell of a deal!

It depends on the offset of the rim. I believe a 2.5" backspacing either fits or just requires a small amount of grinding. My 4.5" Backspacing 15" rims took a ton of grinding. I used an 8" grinder and spent about 25 min on each side. I went like 3" back or so and about 1/4 inch into it and it just fits.

I had to take off quite a bit on mine. I'm not sure what offset my wheels are; probably 4". It's a pain to do with a big grinder, if all you have is a little 4.5" then it will really take you a long time.
