For a street rig, leaf springs on the rear give it a stable ride with out having to put sway bars front and rear.

He could have done coils but some people dont like coil springs.

We are debating right now what we are going to do with the suspension on my little yellow zuk......For now it will have 14" coilovers in the front with the same link set up, and for the rear we are thinking we may try coils..

But leaf springs in the back are very dependable, and much cheaper to run!
