Yes, but unfortunately, the only solid-axled Nissans we ever got in America was 2,000 Patrols in the 1960's. So few that the DMV wouldnt even title them as Nissans. They were titled as Datsuns, though they had Nissan emblems and not even in one instance the word "Datsun" And even worse, many of them made their way to the salvage yard because of their rear ring and pinion gears...

Mine almost suffered this fate... thank god for FJ-40 axles! 8)

It all depends on the condition...

Values compare to the values of TLC FJ-40's.

They had a blue 64 on Ebay just a short while back. It was nice, but wasnt restored or anything. Just very well taken care of. It went for $12,000

Whereas I bought my 69 in town for $100 with no title, no rear axle, no rear springs, no wheels, or tires, but it RAN!!

Just a warning though, parts are pretty hard to get for these old beasts since they are so rare...

I swapped in a FJ-40 rear axle and K-10 rear springs out of necessity.

A previous owner trashed the old Hitachi 1bbl and swapped in a Rochester 1bbl(good mod).

You have got to have patience when trying to find parts...

Landcruisers are way cool from what I have seen they would be easy to put big tires under without much lift :rotfl: :rotfl:

You can run 33"s with a shackle lift. When you do a springover with stock springs, 36" tires fit real well.

Same with the old Patrols. You can run 32" pizza cutters stock on a Patrol without fender trimming. :thumb:
