GOT A PROBLEM

A while back I bought a dana 60 front axle, it was all torn apart so I but ne bearings in it, u joints, and all the other good stuff. So I went and got brakes for a chevy, the rotors didn't fit, then come to find out the axle shaft (inners) are about a 1.5" to short on both sides. Any body know what the problem is, center I bolt to center is 32 1.5" (dodge) but what would the shafts be. I'll find out if the dodge rotors fit tomorrow,let you guys know more.
