Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket Fuel Injection Systems? If so, what have you ran, and on what engine? Any issues?
I'm in the market for something for my caddy motor, and any info is a good thing!
Thanks

Yeah I run a Tuned Port intake on my 350 from a 86 camaro. I use Megasquirt computer to control the fuel and spark advance. It is tuned using a laptop computer. This is a build it yourself kit. So if your into assembling electronics this can save you alot of money. I believe you can get it in assembled form from one of their distributors, but what fun is that. If you build it, then you know how to fix it, is how I feel.

Here is the site for the manual and ordering info:

And for their forum:

You buy it in kit form so its alot cheaper than other after market products. And for me its been very reliable. Tuning can get a little over-welming. Alot of variables to tweak.

On your caddy engine I would just find a TBI unit from a 454 and have megasquirt II control fuel and spark.

I think all I need is fuel control, as far as I know, there aren't any caddy distributors that had computerized spark control.....
