I was wondering does anyone know what engine I can replace a 2.8 with and keep the same trans and drivetrain

Check out your local GMPP dealer I think they have a 3.4 liter engine that is a direct swap for the 2.8 GMPP is General Motors Performance Parts by the way :rotfl: :rotfl:

what it is in is a 84 bronco 2...... bow ties are for sissy's. and yes ford does make a 2.8 ltr. :finger: :rotfl:

I never look at the forum Fords 2.8 was as big of a turd as GMs I would spend the money on a 302 swap I don't think there is an easy swap for a FORD 2.8 There am I redeemed. GM on the brain GM on the brain GM on the brain :banghead: :banghead: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The newer 4.0L V6 should have the same ball housing bolt pattern as your 2.8L.
