Wanted: Dana 44 carrier for 3.92 and numerically higher gears. If you have a limited slip that would be great, but I'll take an open carrier too.

shoot me an email:

I have several, ranging from 3:73 to 4:10. Let me know how bad you need one, and how soon. I have someone comind over here from Meridian at the end of the month.

Bump - I still need a D44 Carrier for 3.92 and up (numerically higher) gears... open, LS, whatever... Not too expensive...

PM or email PLEASE...

Also, if anyone has any D35 axles with ABS tone rings on them, i'd take the tone rings too...

I have a 78 bronco dana 44 4:56 gears detroit locker. Is this along the lines of what you're looking for?

Its for a low pinion XJ rear D44... all I need is the carrier. I have brand new 4.10's to go on it already... 4.56's are too deep.

What size tires are you running ? If you are 33 and below they would be to deep. 34s or 35s and 4.56 is perfect for a DD. I get better mileage with the 4.56 and 35s then I did with 31s and 3.55s. The header I got really made a difference though too.
