Did you guys do a Carnage run last weekend? If so where is the write-up and pics? Or don't you guys do that? Just wondering..... One of the Jeeps that went with us on our last run (not a member) says no Full-size can make it though Carnage/Extra Credit/Meat Grinder.... Just wanted to prove him wrong....lol :thumb:

We did not run it last weekend but we are in May. And yes we will post the pictures. I have plenty of pics (not digital) and video to prove that we did make it. I actually made it with out body damage. Gotta love rock sliders :thumb:
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't the one that said it!!! Don't shot the messenger!!!! I just heard that you guys went up there last weekend, could be wrong might have my dates messed up, I just want to hear how it went and see if you have some pics.

Here is the beginning of Meat grinder:

This is the ledge that alot of people have problems with, short wheel-base usually have to have a scrap on front so they don't flip backwards... BTW these are just poser shots, I never tried the ledge..... :thumb:

I did mean to come across as shooting the messenger.
Now the debate rages take the sami or the blazer. I still don't know if the blazer will be done. All I gotta do to the zuk is change gears. That trail looks like a blast. I may only take one of my rigs but I am definately coming up :rotfl: :rotfl:
We did run carnage last summer though. And I didnt make it without body damage if anyone is keeping track. :thumb:
I Think kevin means " didn't " mean to come across as shooting the messanger. So not like it matters, but Im just currious as to who it is that says we cant make it? anybody i know? I also had some folks tell me I couldn't make the thorn creek trail up around idaho city and they were willing to bet me money that I couldn't make it........ Boy it was fun taking their money at the end of the day.

Mike
I know Mike from Blackfoot wants to go also. I think he is going to roll it into a visit with friends like me and my wife are doing. That might be three rigs coming from this side. :thumb:

I think everytime someone runs carnage/meat grinder there is a little damage but thats what guards are for right!!! lol When our club went through it (carnage) in December they said that it's getting easier, Chatz (CJ5 on 35s) made it though without much problem open/open. Meat grinder is a different story, the good thing about meat grinder is there is about 3-4 different sections. First is the ledge (tough), second is the dark rocks, (moderate) third is the hilly/off-camber rocks (tough) and fourth and last section is for the extreme guys.....lol (HARD) :thumb:

For some really good pics and to give you guys some idea check out PhatXJ pics:

You see the guy in the top left corner, if you go past him and to the right is the last section. It has a few rocks that have been stained with all kinds of oil!!! lol The way I look at it is 40"+ tires and you better be locked or maybe a rock buggy....lol Not many people run that last section. Good thing about Meat grinder is you can almost always get out if you want. There is a road that runs up top the trail also.....
