So I am going to fab up an axle truss that will fit on top of the 14FF Should the material for the truss be any thicker than 1/4"? Or should I just go for 1/2"?

A truss for the 14 bolt? Wow. Are you thinking of a tube type of truss or just plate? Maybe something along these lines:

I thought about the MOO setup. I was thinking of doing the normal "vane" style that would extend fromthe top of the axle down to the ends of the tubes. Really I just remembered the setup from a baha suburban. They have what looks like a ^ over the axle tubes. I am guessing I am just going to mimick what they did.
