5" is borderline too much lift for the stock driveline. You'd be better off with a CV driveshaft and rotating the pinion of the rear axle up.

The T Case drop spacers are all right to get the rear angles decent, but keep in mind that they do increase your front driveline angle a bit.


Also are you certain it's not the front driveshaft? Pull it off and go for a ride.

Not sure on that.

I thought you were swapping a 231 in, or was that someone else?

Pull the front shaft and see. Worst case you won't move :rotfl: Use the park brake too cause park on the trans won't hold in that case.


Building a street worthy wheeler is the hardest and most expensive way to build a wheeler IMO. I'll never do it again.
