OK so I just picked up a 700r4 to throw in one of my wagons. I take it home and notice a peptol bismol pink in the tranny pan. Not knowing a lot about autos, but knowing that can't be good I pull the pan and find this:

So I think I'm missing the valve body and a couple other parts. I think I have some good parts from another tranny to swap in, but I actually have a legit question.

I noticed what appears to be grease in some of the holes in the gasket. Is this going to cause problems when I go to put this tranny together?

Hey,

Should be just enough grease to hold the checkballs in place during assembly.

I don't know what to think of the fluid, Not good.

Pretty sure that The Pink Fluid is from water getting in there.

The fluid I am not too worried about. I know the tranny was not run that way, the fluid came during a transport when the tranny was pretty much drained.

So If I asked one of you tranny rebuilding guys to take the parts from my externally scorched tranny (the fluid is a beautiful red, and did not cook off at all) and place them in my new tranny how much would I be looking at?

PM me with a price and a turnaround time.
