My 2000 GMC Sierra has the 4-wheel disk brake setup. For some reason, they REALLY SUCK. I feel like I have to stand on the brake pedal to stop. I've driven hundreds of different vehicles, and I swear on anything that even the school buses I've driven seem to stop on a dime compared to my baby. I've changed pads & rotors to better material and everything, and it doesn't seem to get any better. Has anyone experienced this and found the answer or has anyone at least heard of anything that may help? I've even checked for recalls and TSB's and everything I can think of. Thanks!!

Our 2001 Tahoe has the same rear brakes, and they are to small for the weight of the vehicle. Larger would be the only solution that I can think of. I've heard this from other tahoe owners.

Thanks. I wonder if they make some kind of conversion kit of some sort...either to bigger brakes or to revert back to drums...
