Well there is alot of good local wheelin & wheelers so let us know when you got the itch to wheel or wrench and we'll go.

Re: Stop Here and Introduce Yourself!

Another Web wheeler comes out into public. I have been reading your site for quite some time and now I have quesitons I am hoping you knowledgable people can help me with, so I figure I should introduce myself.

My name is Andy Kirkendall, I live in Payette but work in Boise. I drive a 2000 TJ that I saved from a junk yard in Northern Cali. I currently have 6" springs in the front and 4" springs in the rear with a 3" body lift. I run 4.56's with an ARB in the front and a loc-rite in the rear. Used to have ARB in the back, but I blew that up. I upgraded my D30 with the Warn lockouts and axles. I still have a D35 in the rear (which is where my questions will come in). All this rolls on 35" MTR's.

I have run with some of you before, I know I have met some of you before. I am just a punk kid from the sticks who loves to wheel but I don't get out much cause I work retail and only get one weekend a month off. So hopefully I can get out and meet some of you sometime soon!

Pics of the Heep

This is where my questions begin

Re: Stop Here and Introduce Yourself!

Hi I'm Jimmy. I live in Morganton, NC with my soon to be wife Bridgett, her son Bryson, and in 7 more weeks our daughter Taylor. I drive a 1989 Mitsubishi Mighty Max with 33x12.5s. Sorry I have no pic right now but give me about a week to finish installing the 4" body lift that I had to make myself and I'll shoot a pic!

Hi new here I'm mudpit

Hi I'm mudpit, and I have a chevy truck with a sas and I love playing in the mud with my family and camping, fishing and hunting. Yes this may be a bit lame but I love it and spend a lot of time 4wheeling on the beaches here.
I will sent some pics of my ride later.

Re: Stop Here and Introduce Yourself!

Kevin M. (Rock Monkey) here - I have been designing and building off-road vehicles for 20+ years. Used to do it professionally, but now just as requested. Give me a call if you need something done right. I am GIS Department Manager for POWER Engineers, specializing in GIS/Engineering software development and implementations for electric, gas, and water utilities all over the U.S. and beyond. I am also Web Administrator and Event Coordinator for Idaho Off-Road 4x4 Club. Here is a pic of my latest invention. A 73' Jeepster Commando with a CJ-7 tub and everything else custom fabricated. Cool site... Really enjoy it everyday.

Hey Monkey welcome. I could of swore you were on Planet already under a different name ? Did you get a new top yet ?
Hey Kevin how much to weld some shock mounts on to my 44 tubes for me. My welding isn't good enough to trust for that job. I'll get you a couple picks of the mounts that will be welded to the tubes and one of what I'm looking for as far as location. I need to get a little shorter shocks to, it raises the mount point at least 6".
Do you need some help out at Bill's next week ? Thursday or Friday ?

Re: Stop Here and Introduce Yourself!

No problem Scott. Give me a call when you are ready and we can make it happen. I could definitely use your help again this year out at Bill's to build trophies, set up the course, and get things ready. I am planning on Thursday, but haven't received any confirmation from anyone. I will follow up tomorrow and get a firm date/time.
