I'm pretty sure the lockers in the Rubicon are air lockers and not electric lockers.

The TJ Rubicon lockers are air lockers that only need 5 psi to engage. They are built by Tochigi Fuji Sanjyo and Jeep calls them Tru-Lok™.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess what threw me is that Jeeps own page reffers to it as an electrically actuated locker but research showed that it is indeed an air locker. That same company also has an electronic version I see.

I think both are right. From what I can find it looks like the JK has electric lockers while the TJ has air lockers.

Yep. Electronic lockers on the JK Rubi....there are several people on jk-forum who are reporting some problems with them.
