Im gettin the air in the bike tires right now .. I should be ready :D
The Heep just within the hour went to the exhaust shop, I have the axles right here in my office. SO all I have to do now is finish the roll cage, wiring, D-shafts and a couple of small things and I ready to get into the "scene" with you guys again..............:jeep:
Nate, italked to chris and since it would be your first run with us, you can just show up. We'll cover everything else for ya.:deal:

11-12-2005, 08:49 PM
Sorry Nate, I got you confused with Hot-Rod, give me a call I could use a hand getting ready for TTC
No more installing stuff on my Jeep for a WHILE haha. I put a solid 3 months of 18-20 hr days between work and the Jeep to get it done. Somedays I wanted the magic garage nomes to finish it while I was sleeping :thumb:
Anyway... for the run, I'll bring along what I'd bring wheeling in Alaska. I've got the standard front/rear tow points, winch, lockers, spare tire, First Aid Kit, fire extinguisher, gloves, shovel, survival gear, hand tools, Ready Welder, etc, etc.

I'll be there! I'm just hoping we won't be driving in too much snow. I went out with some friends Veterans Day weekend up around Rocky Bar and it was pretty nerve wracking. (all the slipping and sliding)
I guess I'll volunteer to be the caboose I don't want to dig too big of ruts:)

Deep snow can be alot of fun but it can also be very frustrating without any speed, my only suggestion is if your open make sure you have tow points front and rear.

i took the front ones taken off to use the spots for mounting the bumper ... i plan on putting them back on but just been really lazy lately , need to get off my ass i have a couple of things that need to get done but just havent gotten around to it
i dont think i have any in the rear but thats ok if i rip the rear bumper off just give me a reason to get a new one built
Thats how people's $100 straps get cut and ruined. Just bring a length of chain to loop through your frame rails.

Should we divvy up the burger burn now or hit WallyWorld after we get together? I prefer to show up with the goods so we don't waste so much time. I'll pick up the burgers.
need things like:
condiments
burger vegies
chips
buns
tater salad?
plates
Foil
fire wood
boy scout fire starting fluid (Larry going?)
welding gloves / burger flipper
So far it looks like ~9 trucks & 13 people by looking at this thread.
Can we get a head count? 3 for me.

I am gonna try to re-debut a topless flattie. Two persons max. May just flat tow to cattle guard-if I can find the turns again.
I'll be there, and I believe they may be one of Jamake-it's friends getting a ride with me, not 100% sure though.
I've got a small pile of wood I can bring I can bring along with firestarting stuff.

Ok so I will bring the foil, condiments, welding gloves and buns. Do we need to add drinks to that list or do we just bring our own?
Does that three for you count you, cory and I?
I will have two going right now it could increase. I will get the tater and Macaroni salad.

The firewood is covered, John will be bringing that. The club should still have the condiments, napkins, etc.
Can't wait to go play in the snow, did some suspension mods to the Blaze that I am itching to try out! And NO, it's not the articulating IFS axle that I had for TTC!!! :darn: :thumb:

It depends on temps. If it is above 20 Gabe and I will both go. If it is below 20 only probably me. It also depends upon how garage work goes on Sat. night. I have to run to Boise in the AM. It will be a last minute call for me.

Does that three for you count you, cory and I?
66? I thought you just turned 80! (I'm talking about your Sig line)
that counts Me, my Boy's and I guess You and Cory. I can't rightly seperate you from my your tires now can I?
so that's:
:thumb: condiments
:thumb: burger vegies
:thumb: chips
:thumb: buns
:thumb: tater salad
:thumb: mack salad
:thumb: plates
:thumb: Foil
:thumb: fire wood
boy scout fire starting fluid :flame: (Larry going?)
:thumb: welding gloves / burger flipper
:what: Don't know about the drinks, it's hard to buy something everybody likes.
So that's 17 fer pretty sures and one "if I get my truck done"?
Generic, once I get my new tires on (thanks 66/80), and whatever Lumpy needs done, we can come on over to your garage and get your truck(s) done by 2:00 AM. I kind of miss that custom of ours. Need Patrick H. to get us back in the groove.
I'll be there. Just me and my Ranger. Hoping I don't get stuck. At least I have tow hooks front and back...:drive: Just kidding Travis.
Trust me you will get stuck:popcorn: Thats half the fun....:goodjob:

Ok so we bring our own drinks.
Chris said that I could drive my 80 and "if" I get to a point I can't go on leave it and jump in with him. Since I don't have a lift or those tires and it is my daily driver. Hmmm exchange for me letting you use my tires that Cory go with you. Just kidding. And hey I still have the 66 it just isn't finished yet.
If anyone wants to ride along, it will be just me in the Jeep... so let me know.

I had an great time! :thumb: Everybody was friendly and it was great to put some faces to the screen names. The weather was beautiful, it really warmed up once we got some altitude (weird). My truck did awesome, I never got stuck once. Granted, I also didn't deviate from the main path much. I am sure that if I had tried some of the things the others were, I would have gotten stuck. I am soo looking forward to the next trip. :drive:
In the meantime...here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure.
