Registration form filled out & entry paid via Paypal,

I have a question though, My brother is eligable to pre register aswell, but he himself will not be able to register & pay,

I would like to enter the same truck in his place (different driver) will this be possible or will I have to wait for open registration & hope to get a spot?

I'll have to defer this one to Lumpdog. I don't see a problem with you registering for him if he's unable to, but I'm not sure if it's going to be possible to have one vehicle being run by two different drivers.

Same vehicle different driver, & only the one driver,

(edit) We will just wait for open reginstration next month & try to get in then,

Go ahead and register the truck. We have allowed in the past for Drivers to give their spot away. So, go ahead and register up!

Lumpdog
07-06-2010, 09:01 AM
Just to be clear on this. We have in the past allowed drivers to give their spot to someone of their choosing. That spot then belongs to the new person from that point on.

Hope that makes sense.

Hey y'all. I was hoping y'all could give me a heads up as to what I could expect during this event. I am going to try and make this event this year as a competitor. CasperCustoms has just about talked me into it. What should I plan for, places to stay, what are the events? I saw a thread about changing it up this year so I would like to know what I can expect. It is a long drive for me and I would really like to know what I may need to plan for. Thanks for all your help in advance.

The event is 1 day only (Saturday). Registration is from 7:00 - 8:00 am. Once you check in your rig will get teched then you will go to the RTI Ramp; Approach/Depart and Start/Stop. Once you have finished with those events we will line you up for the Obstacle course/Mud pit/Tow Test. There will be a short intermission for lunch then onto the Rock course. Once all the scores are tallied up we will then do the awards and raffle. It makes for a long day, but lots of fun.

Lodging: Last year Lehi was nice enough to let people throw a tent up in his field. I'm not sure if he was going to do the same this year. Otherwise there are a few cheap motels in the area that I can get you the numbers to (In years past they didn’t really give a discount). And there is a KOA campground and Mtn Home RV Park for those who have motor homes or travel trailers.

Other: We have plenty of fast food joints, a few good restaurants; a Wal Mart, Albertsons, and Pauls grocery stores so don’t pack heavy.

The driver will get in for free but all passengers/spectators/friends/family will have to pay a $7.00 entrance fee the day of the event. There will be food and drinks for sale at the park as well as Port a Potty.

I hope I answered most of your questions, please feel free to ask more.

Spot10
07-19-2010, 09:42 PM
He paid for the registration, not for the shirt yet. While we'll order extras for sale the day of, it'd be preferred that one is pre-ordered just to make sure that everyone gets what they want. Just let me know how many and what sizes are needed. They're $15 a piece and you can either pay it through PayPal (send to wildwestoffroaders@gmail.com) or get the money to me or Sherri.

Thank you so much for all the answers. I just got off the phone with Blazinzuk and talked to CasperCustoms today as well. I am going to plan on being there and I really can't thank y'all enough for giving me a chance to wheel in such a friendly environment. One other question. I see that there are 17 people set up for a priorty regestrations and there will only be room for 40 rigs total. Does this mean that I am going to have to stay up till 0000 hours to register on the 11th? Lehi - I have sent you a PM.

That is what I figured but, this will make it so that I only have to make one trip that way. It also gives me more time to get everything paid for and gives Blazinzuk and CasperCustoms more time to get everything worked out of the Beater.

I can't win. No way. I have very little driving experience behind the wheel of the Beater. I was thinking I have been wheeling 5 or 6 times in my life and it has all been in Moab.

As of today, there are only 9 people registered. I wouldn't expect all of those eligible for priority registration to get registered. There shouldn't be a need to fill out the form at midnight, just be prepared to get it done soon after open registration begins.
