What you need are some old Scout axles. Low gears and I believe posi as well. :mrgreen:

A friend of mine has been after me for some time to get a zuk and do a slight build and start wheeling it while I finish the fullsize. He called me tonight about one for 100 bucks running. Tin top, one rusted fender but other wise not to bad I guess. Seats are shot but those would probably be replaced anyway.

I like the 4.3 v6 route.

I really liked the weight balance of mine with the stock motor I drove a 4.3 sami and it just didn't feel as nimble. Although it did feel like it had about 500 hp it was cool for that. In my opionon the 1600 16v swap is the bomb digity That is what my buggy will run :rotfl: :rotfl:

Went and looked at it. Major league hashed. Not much left and somehow the price went up to 250. Left if there. Still looking though.

I have had several leads on different sami's here and there but nothing that turns out to be where I'd like to start. They are either totally hammered shite or the owner thinks he has a one of a kind 4 wheel drive Rolls Royce. Not looking real hard. Got too many irons in the fire already. I'm sure you guys know how that goes.

Normally I don't mind that type of rig but this time I just don't feel like dealing with the rust holes. Last one I bought i can't even light a cigarette while traveling down the highway. whistle
