Rather than hyjack a productive thread any further, this thread can be used to give all competitors a hard time, everyone is invited for some good natured "razzing"

First of all, anyone reading this thread already knows that Rob "AKA Muddy crawler" was the wiener, I mean winner of last years event, so that makes him target boy for this go around, everyone is head hunting you.
Rob I know you want to be the first 2 time champ, but I don't think there is any way you are lucky enough to have both Cheston & I break our junk again, not to mention some of the other rigs on the list looking to steal your crown,

With that said, Cheston, you got that rear 4-link done yet, or are you going to just leave the rear diff at home & save the wear & tear on 2 of your new treads?

I'm betting you will go through at least three more rigs before ITTC even starts so the Bronco won't even be there to win.

Seems like the only trash talkers are the Monster Breakage Buggy and Axle Strap Scout.

We should be able to run all 39 entries this year if these two yahoo's can figure out how to keep their junk together!

Hey Cheston.....are you good with spotting acronyms??? :flipoff:

This thread made my day!

Having said that tho.......

Maybe I will leave the rear diff at home.......might actually be in your guys league with only front wheel drive.......make it an actual competition. :rotfl:

The 4 link will be just about wrapped up tomorrow which will take care of the "axle strap" problem so Lumpy is going to have to come up with a new nickname for the Scout. Something like the ITTC stompin Scout or Swept every event Scout. Something along those lines.

Hey Cheston.....are you good with spotting acronyms???

Im not good at spotting anything...ask Corey. Thats why Im running 47s....I dont need to spot, just go!

As for all 39 running this year??? I dont think its going to happen. At least half the field is going to chicken out the day of the event when they pull in and see the ITTC ruling Scout and the Monster Breakage Buggy sitting there. Its all good though. It will still be a fun day

BLAH BLAH

THe tow test will be twice as long, so the little pansy rigs can at least get it started. And for the rigs like Daly where they where hopping like hell at just 100 feet what will they do at 200?

lehi
08-21-2009, 06:33 PM

Rockwell'd rigs are over rated and for compensating drivers. The same can be said about tires bigger than a 42"..........

You guys and your fancy trucks got mudholes stomped in ya last year on the Obstacle course by a bone stock, non lockered, knocking motor pile o' jap crap........

If I recall.............

I beat both of last year's real TTC entrants in the Obstacle Course, Rock Course, and Tow test! Kinda makes ya wonder if the real TTC is all about the big gay mud trucks and a video!

I was going to try to find the results from last year. I thought Jerry Duffy took 2nd in the tow test behind Corey( TTC 09) We all know my misfortune on the tow test so the Stock Rodeo probably beat me there to.

And speaking of big gay mud trucks......why arent you running your Blazer this year???

I like seeing people rigs changing but at the same time I think its cool to have some rigs stay the same.

Blew up? that might be exagerating a bit don't you think? granted I was not there when your trans failed, But I did get to whitness your pull & with your belittling 2.5 horse power, a better explination might go like this,

"I used my converter to superheat the fluid until it self combusted & the tranny went out in a ball of flames"

See to me that is just more believable :D

I do have to admit Lumpy, your getting the samck awwwn, espcially for a guy that is barrowing a rig to compete this year.

Whats the point of even running the RTI ramp, your going to win it anyway, I mean how can you lift a tire if the rear diff is still in the garage at home,

You know Cheston, maybe you should leave the rear suspension as it was at fordyce,
On the RTI the u-bolts could come loose & allow more droop on the rear diff,
Plus, your bound to get more points on the departure angle if you can get it to slide back as good as it does forward :flipoff:

I'm sure the rest of the events could see some benifets of an adjustable wheel base,

Cheston does speak the truth though, if the buggy had sheet metal it would look like a late 70's caddy at a monstertruck rally,

Hell, adjustable wheelbase was soooooo last year. I started the comp with 108 and ended the comp with 106. All you have to do is jump enough and hit big rocks the frame will look like an accordian.

The Blaze still is a viable competitor if need be. It just doesn't have reverse........ In fact, I don't know that I can finish in the top 20 with Mongo. I don't know how to drive a standard, and Mongo's turning radius is just shy of a 1/4 mile. Oh, and Mongo has about 3" of up travel before hitting the oil pan. It actually looks pretty clean, would be ashame to bash it up,
4 inch and 35s, i think it will do just fine, only thing im conserned with is obstacle course, honestly dont think im going to win but tow test, mud, start stop should be a contender, is pretty clean and appreciate the coment but it does have some rust and im sure will have some body damage after ttc.:darn::darn: :help:

That bronco won't even make it over the logs, mud...., and tow test? You probably have a better shot at the RTI ramp.

You have seen him right?

5'3" 110 soaking wet... Balsa wood would be enough cage...

Plus with that pantywaist little body, he is not gonna be wheeling anything heavy duty like the Green Machine...

It will be Little Tikes brightly colored plastic all the way

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/419DSZMNTJL._SL500_AA280_.jpg

Then again, XJ's break enough, usually there drivers go over prepared,(XJ owners recovery kit: tow strap, satellite phone to call 911 when it breaks, list of all H2 drivers I know for my personal recovery team, pictures of toyota's I fantasize about for their reliability, pamprin for my vaginal pains when it breaks) so he might be rolling the full exo little tikes right off the git go...

The only transmission I can build that will last for you are the ones built on a picnic table in Moab. So from now on, everytime we need to fix your trans we will have to make the trek to Moab! Yup, sounds good to me!

Ok lets put an afternoon at the Wild Hourse on it !

I have no interest in spending the afternoon at the wild horse,
But, if you were to beat me, 10 minutes at the Wild Horse should be pleanty of time for you to do your thing, :rotfl:

I don't know what 10 min at that establishment will cost you, but, I'll put down a Benjamin that I finish higher you, over all, if you beat me I'll give you the cash & you can spend it however you like, (maybe even on the way home)

If I beat you, the money can buy us some beers & help pay for my trip home,

Note to the Mods of this forum, if you find this side bet the least bit inapropriate please let me know & I will remove the post from the thread,

For me it is all in good fun,

Bets are good! Bring 'em!!!

Worked on the Obstacle Course Trophy Truck today!

Take a good look at the License Plate and ask yourself if you really want to mess with WwOR's dirt DEVIL????

It would be cool to run it over after the event, but last year the rodeo was still pretty clean, & it would be ashamed to run over something that is still useable to somebody. (including this rig of saitan)

The transmission and 2 of the tires on this rig are from the old 05 rig as well, so the ITTC heritage lives on.

Some video of the last run of the 05 rig, this was at Meridian Speedway during a monster truck show!

It's hard to tell in the pics, but the upper ball joint failed on the right side on the last run. The lower ball joint hung on for a while. On the straights, the tire would lay on it's side, then when he would turn a corner, it would right itself until the next jump, way cool to watch!

Boo ya Leroy! He wont take the bet if he is smart.

I wish I had the cash to make the same bet. If I had it I would be more than confident enough to make the same bet against muddybawler.

Time to step up mr ITTC 08 :deal:
