Chubbuck days parade probelm

Okay, we have a slight probelm with the Chubbuck parade. Apparently the Mayor is concerned with the parade's length and they are limiting the space allowed per group. We are only allowed to have three rigs in the parade. I wasn't to happy about it but it is what it is. I am going to see if we can have a couple more rigs but I don't think we will get them.

The next question is what rig's are we going to put in the parade. The best option would be to discuss it at the meeting on Friday. There we could see who wanted to be in the parade and then vote on the three to be in the parade.

I know this sucks but I think it's the only fair way to go about it.

That was the other option I was thinking about but I thought there might be some people that would still be interested in being in the event.

I kind of like Sandmans idea. If we can't do it as a club, then maybe we ought not too. I don't know.... That sucks.

lets tell the mayor we pay him, then we will tell him how many rigs we will bring. we cant let beurocrats control our lives, besides we all have to throw candy to make kids happy. or we could bag it.

I think you guys should still run in the parade. We need the exposure. I see more and more stuff everyday going down the road.

You guys could run behind me. I am only running 1 truck so that would leave 2 that we could say were with me.

How many guys are actually planning on running????? I didn't get a count at the last parade.

I would be very interested in being in the parade. I'm not in the club yet but would like to do this if possible. Was there any mention on what would happen if we had more vehicles than three? I will be at the meeting Friday night to hang out with you SICO's. Heck ask the mayor to give up his spot in the parade, no really cares if the politicos are there anyway right.:rotfl:

I think most people would prefer they jumped off a cliff these days, the more i think about it i doubt they will care if we have a couple extra rigs.

You could try but I was told, "Pick your best three rigs to run in the parade because 10-15 rigs is too many and we don't want the people watching the parade to get bored."

I tried to get more spots but I was told the mayor doesn't want a long parade. You could try and sneak a couple more rigs in the line up but I don't know if they would let you.

Maybe we can put one rig on my big trailer with two other vehicles driving and then the rest can sit on the front of the trailer and in the back of the truck and throw candy or something.

Matt, that is a really good idea!! I say we do it. I will even see what kind of deal I can get on tootsie rolls from Gem State.

Tommorrow, I will talk to the planner about letting us have some more rigs. Who knows maybe some other particapants cancelled or maybe they haven't exceeded the :lame: "LENGTH QUOTA". "shaking:

I'll have to get the wireing back together in it if we do that. I'm in the final stages of moving the axles forward 4 feet. Some of the floor will be missing but I dont think that will be a problem.
